As the COVID-19 crisis rapidly evolves, the health and safety of our employees, clients, and communities remain top priority. We wanted to share with you what one of our local community partners - Community Initiatives, Inc. - is doing to still address the needs of our community:
Community Initiatives, Inc. has made their services available by tele-health and telephone as much as possible. They are able to complete some medical appointments and all benefits screenings remotely. Please see below for hours and contact information:
La Clinica Gratis, Monday-Thursday 9am-2pm
Please note that for medical assessments and questions, patients can call the office at 864-941-7980. Appointments for nurse visits, doctors appointments, and telehealth will be conducted by phone.
Patients who are scheduled for tele-health appoints can Skype, FaceTime, or use Google Duo using the email address: help@myci.us
Thrive Hub/Benefits Screenings, Monday-Thursday 9am-1pm
For assistance applying for SNAP, TANF, Medicaid or Medicare, clients can inbox Community Initiatives via their Facebook page (Community Initiatives Inc) at @communityinitiativesinc or call 223-7472 to make appointments during the noted office hours. Translators are available if requested. Once the appointment is made, clients will be directed on how to connect. If needed, a contact person can be reached from 9am until 1pm via FaceTime at administrator@communityinitiatives.us and Skype at communityinitiatives1@outlook.com.
